Glass bottle – matte pharmaceutical bottle with black spray pump represents a professional packaging solution designed for precise and hygienic dispensing of liquid preparations in the form of a fine mist. Thanks to the high-quality glass and the closure with spray pump, it is suitable for filling cosmetic and technical solutions that require controlled application to the skin, hair, textiles or surfaces. The matte glass looks elegant, reduces the visibility of fingerprints and helps protect the contents from light, which is important for more sensitive formulations.
This glass bottle with spray pump is supplied as a ready-made combination of packaging and closure. The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil components, etc.) in order to ensure the long-term functionality and safety of the product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass pharmaceutical bottle is generally suitable for most cosmetic solutions based on water, hydrolates and alcohol, since glass is a stable and inert material. However, with a higher alcohol content we always recommend carrying out a trial filling and leaving the product in the packaging for several days to verify the functionality and sealing of the spray pump. Monitor whether any changes occur in the scent, colour or operation of the mechanism.
Yes, the glass bottle can be reused provided that hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly washed, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. It is necessary to disinfect not only the glass part, but also the spray pump (where this is possible with regard to its construction) and to let everything dry completely before refilling.
First empty the bottle completely and dismantle it into the glass part and the spray pump. Wash the glass with warm water and a suitable cleansing agent, rinse thoroughly and allow it to dry. The packaging then needs to be disinfected – ideally by rinsing and spraying with alcohol (for example using the products available on Handymade) and again allowing it to air out completely. We recommend rinsing the spray pump with warm water and, if needed, also with a small amount of alcohol, making sure to let clean water run through the mechanism to remove all residues of the previous product.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend first emptying it completely and mechanically separating the glass part from the plastic spray pump. After rinsing away any product residues, place the glass bottle in the sorted glass collection according to local regulations. The spray pump, as a combined plastic component, should be placed in the sorted plastic collection or in mixed waste according to the recommendations of your collection system. When recycling, always follow the material labelling given in the product parameters and the local waste separation rules.
To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter on Handymade, which is located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. This allows you to quickly narrow down the offer according to parameters such as neck, size, colour and material, and thus find a bottle, pharmaceutical bottle or jar that best matches your product and method of dispensing.
