The glass bottle with a matte surface is a professional packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid cosmetic products, serums and concentrated blends, where precise and hygienic application is important. In combination with a dropper, it provides practical, controlled dosing and helps to minimize the contact of the contents with air. The dark, opaque glass naturally contributes to better protection of sensitive components from light, thus supporting the stability of formulas during storage and use.
This bottle is available on its own as well as in combination with various types of closures and dispensing systems according to the selected parameters. They are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators), allowing you to adapt the packaging to the specific type of product and method of application. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for active, strongly pigmented or highly viscous products.

Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly for different cosmetic formulations, provided that hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, however, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and of undesired interaction with residues of the previous product.
First rinse the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent (ideally a neutral or mild detergent), then several times with clean water and let it dry completely. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the inner space and all parts that come into contact with the product with preparations such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For the dropper, it is important to thoroughly rinse the pipette and the rubber bulb and make sure that no residues of the previous product remain in the capillary.
The matte dark glass bottle is a suitable choice for many products containing oils and light-sensitive active substances, because dark glass naturally reduces light penetration to the contents. This can help slow down the degradation of some sensitive components and contribute to the stability of the formula during use. For very sensitive formulations, we recommend combining suitable packaging with appropriate storage conditions, for example out of direct sunlight and at the recommended temperature.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material indicated in the product parameters. The glass bottle can usually be thrown into the container designated for glass after emptying and basic rinsing. Other parts, such as the dropper or rubber bulb, should be separated and sorted according to their material composition in accordance with local waste-sorting rules.
