Plastic jar with pink lid – milky 100 ml is a practical and lightweight container suitable for packaging various creamy, gel-based and loose formulations. Thanks to the high-quality plastic material, the jar is stable, holds its shape well and reliably protects the filled product during storage and transport. The light, milky appearance supports the esthetic presentation of the product, and the pink lid gives the packaging an attractive, visually distinguishable character.
The jar is suitable for home-made and artisan brands that are looking for a practical, reusable and easy-to-close container for their products. The compact format supports convenient dosing, easy handling and, thanks to the screw-cap system, also secure closure of the contents.
Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation). In this way you verify the long-term stability of the product and reliable closure under the specific storage and use conditions.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the jar is suitable for packaging thicker creams, balms and butters that are dosed by scooping with fingers or using a spatula. The wider opening makes it easier to handle the dense texture and allows the packaging to be emptied comfortably almost down to the last dose. When filling, we recommend making sure that the product is not hot in order to preserve the stability of the plastic and the shape of the container.
The container can be reused if hygiene rules are observed and it is handled appropriately. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the jar from residues of the previous product and then disinfect it with a suitable agent, for example with the products IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % available on the pages /ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ and /etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/. By following this procedure, you reduce the risk of microbial contamination and extend the usability of the newly filled product.
For manual filling we recommend working in the cleanest environment possible, using disinfected tools and filling the container only up to the marked maximum level so that the product is not pushed into the thread during closing. It is ideal to fill creams and gels at room temperature, not hot, to minimize the risk of condensation and to preserve the stability of the packaging. After filling, tighten the screw lid firmly and check the sealing for the first time by gently turning the container over or pressing on it.
If you decide not to reuse the jar, we recommend, after emptying and basic cleaning, placing it in sorted waste according to the material specified in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade.sk website. Before throwing it into the appropriate container, it is advisable to remove any product residues and labels in order to facilitate the recycling process. Always follow the local waste-sorting rules in your municipality and the recommendations for recycling plastic packaging, which help reduce the burden on the environment.
To select a suitable bottle, jar or other type of container, we recommend using the advanced filter which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter you can easily set the required parameters – for example type of neck, size, color or material. By combining these filters you will quickly narrow down the selection to the containers that best suit your formulation, method of dosing and the visual style of your brand.
We recommend storing the filled jars in a dry place protected from direct sunlight and significant temperature fluctuations. The container should always be carefully closed to minimize the product’s contact with air, dust and impurities. For products sensitive to heat, it is advisable to choose a cooler storage place according to the recommendations for the specific formulation. If you use the jars in a bathroom or humid environment, make sure that neither water nor steam gets inside.
