The jar can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are followed. Before each new filling it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and helps maintain the quality of the filled product.

The jar is most often used for packaging cosmetic products that have a creamy or thicker consistency – body and face creams, butters, lip balms, ointments, scrubs or masks. Thanks to the wider opening, the contents can be conveniently taken out with fingers or a spatula, and it is also easy to work with when producing home-made or craft batches of products.

After emptying the jar, remove the residues of the original product, wash the container with a suitable cleaning agent and rinse thoroughly with water. Then let it dry completely, and before refilling we recommend disinfecting the inner space and the lid with an alcohol solution, for example using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. Such a procedure supports the hygiene of the packaging and helps prevent the deterioration of the new product.

Before handing it over for collection, remove the remaining filling and clean the packaging from coarse impurities. Then throw it into the appropriate container intended for that type of plastic according to local waste sorting rules. In this way you support the recycling process and reduce the amount of waste destined for landfilling.

Thanks to the screw lid, the jar is also practical for carrying smaller amounts of cosmetics, for example lip balm, cream or ointment in a travel bag. Before using it for travelling, always check that the lid is tightened, and for very liquid or oily products we recommend doing a short sealing test so that you can be sure that the contents will remain safely closed even during longer transport.
