The plastic bottle with a transparent trigger sprayer represents a practical packaging for gentle and even spraying of various liquid preparations. The combination of a durable plastic body and a functional mechanical sprayer enables precise dosing without the hand coming into contact with the contents, which is suitable for the production of cosmetics, cleaning and auxiliary solutions.
This bottle is designed so that, when used correctly, it provides reliable spraying, good protection of the contents against contamination and convenient handling for both home and professional formulations. Thanks to the ergonomic shape of the trigger sprayer, it is suitable for frequent use and for even application of a thin layer of product to the skin, surfaces or textiles.
This packaging is supplied as a functional combination of bottle and trigger sprayer, ready for direct use. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

If the bottle is made of PET material, it is necessary to take into account that PET is not suitable for exposure to high temperatures. When in contact with hot liquids or when heated, deformation of the packaging may occur, which will affect both sealing and appearance. Such packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling; gentle manual cleaning with an appropriate water temperature and a suitable cleaning agent is recommended.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, it is recommended to recycle it according to the type of plastic used, as stated in the product parameters. When sorting waste, follow the material labelling on the packaging and the local rules for plastic collection. Before recycling, it is advisable to empty the packaging and rinse out any product residues, in order to facilitate its further material recycling.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if the formulation is suitable and the sprayer mechanism is not damaged, always subject to compliance with basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle and the sprayer must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the new product. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you can find in the Handymade range, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging and the sprayer to dry completely and only then fill with a new product.
The trigger sprayer is designed primarily for low-viscosity aqueous and water-alcohol solutions. With products that are too viscous, oily or emulsion-based, the uniformity of spraying may decrease, the nozzle may become clogged or the service life of the mechanism may be reduced. Therefore, before final use on a product, we recommend making a small test batch, filling the bottle and checking several times the smooth operation, spray pattern and return of the spring in the trigger mechanism.
For a long service life of the mechanical sprayer, it is important, after use with more demanding formulations (e.g. containing salts, plant extracts or surfactants), to flush the packaging regularly with clean water. It is recommended to empty the bottle, fill it with water several times and spray through, in order to remove product residues from the dip tube and nozzle. For longer-term storage without use, it is advisable to keep the sprayer clean and dry, and for products with an intense fragrance you can also use a short rinsing with a suitable alcohol solution, followed by spraying through with clean water.

Before disposal, we recommend checking the material designation of the packaging in the product parameters and on the bottle itself. According to this designation, choose the correct type of separated collection in your household or facility. Plastic bottles are usually placed in the plastic container, and it is advisable to empty them and thoroughly rinse out any remaining contents. The trigger mechanism may be made of several types of plastics; if local regulations allow it, it is recycled together with the bottle, otherwise you can dispose of it within mixed waste collection. If the material composition and the condition of the packaging allow it, it is always more environmentally friendly to first consider repeated use after thorough cleaning and disinfection, and only then proceed to recycling.
