Plastic bottle – dropper medicine bottle is a practical packaging intended for precise dosing of liquid preparations where control over the amount of individual drops is important. Thanks to the integrated dropper, it enables convenient, hygienic and repeatedly precise dosing, which you will appreciate for concentrated cosmetic formulations, technical solutions or auxiliary solutions for household use. The packaging is designed to be suitable for filling various low-viscosity liquids and to be efficiently integrated into both small-scale and larger-scale production.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene principles are observed and an appropriately chosen type of filling is used. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after completely drying is the packaging ready for further safe use.
Before further use, we recommend first rinsing the bottle and the inner dropper part with a suitable cleaning solution or warm water with a mild surfactant, then rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to drain. After mechanical cleaning, it is necessary to disinfect the packaging – alcohol based on isopropanol or ethanol is most commonly used, for example products available on Handymade. After disinfection, let all parts dry completely on a clean surface to prevent dilution or contamination of the next filling.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it to the maximum possible extent. Proceed according to the type of material given in the product parameter table – you can also find indicative marking on the bottom or side of the bottle. Before handing it over to separated waste collection, it is advisable to use up the contents thoroughly, rinse out the residues as much as possible and disassemble the individual parts of the packaging (bottle, dropper, possibly the cap) if they are made of different plastics. Then place them in the appropriate container according to local waste sorting rules so that the material can be reprocessed in the recycling process.
The dropper closure is designed mainly for thin, low-viscosity liquids for which it is necessary to control the number of drops or very small doses of product. These include, for example, aqueous solutions of active substances, toners, certain extracts or technical solutions. Thicker emulsions or oil blends may drip more slowly or unevenly, so for atypical formulations it is important to carry out your own dosing test and, if necessary, choose another type of closure or packaging.
The fastest way to choose is to use the extended filter in the packaging category. After clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, medicine bottles or cosmetic packaging), you will find the extended filter at the top of the page. Using it, you can sort the packaging according to several parameters – most often according to neck type, size, colour and material. Thanks to a combination of filters, you will select only those packaging items that meet the technical and design requirements of your specific product.
