Plastic bottle, white, white mini trigger sprayer, 200 ml

A ready-made bottle and closure set for sprays: a white plastic bottle with a nominal volume of 200 ml and a white trigger sprayer with the same type of neck. The PET bottle is lightweight and unbreakable. The white opaque wall limits light reaching the contents, which you will appreciate with hydrosols, toners and other water-based formulations that do not benefit from light. The trigger sprayer disperses the contents into a mist with a single press of the lever. The set is therefore particularly suitable for body and hair sprays, hydrosols, refreshing mists, textile and interior sprays and water-based household cleaning products. Both the bottle and the sprayer are declared as suitable for contact with cosmetic products.

How the set works

The trigger sprayer draws the contents through a tube reaching to the bottom of the bottle and, when the lever is pressed, pushes it out through the nozzle as a fine mist. Each press releases a small, consistent dose, so the product is applied evenly and without spilling. Lever operation is more comfortable than a classic top-press sprayer for frequent or repeated spraying (cleaning, textile care, refreshing hair).

The sprayer is intended for liquid, low-viscosity contents. Water-based solutions, hydrosols, toners, surfactant solutions and diluted cleaning agents pass through without problems. Thick emulsions, gels or pure oils will either not be atomised by the nozzle or will clog it. For such products, choose a different type of closure.

Nominal and total volume

The nominal volume is the amount the bottle is intended for under normal filling. The total volume to the brim is the physical volume of the bottle up to the neck and is somewhat larger. The difference is a reserve for the tube and the immersed part of the sprayer and for free expansion of the contents with temperature changes. Fill to the nominal volume, not to the brim. Otherwise, when the sprayer is screwed on, the contents will overflow and the lever may not draw properly.

Suitable for products such as

• Hydrosols and facial or body toners – water-based formulations applied by spraying; the white wall protects them from light.
• Hair sprays and refreshing mists – light water-based or mildly alcoholic formulations without thickeners.
• Textile and interior sprays – scented sprays for linen, mattresses or curtains, where the lever is more comfortable than a small sprayer.
• Eco-friendly household cleaning – water-based cleaning and degreasing sprays, surfactant solutions, vinegar cleaners.
• Plant sprays – nourishing or treatment solutions for leaves.

Good to know

Before first filling, wash and disinfect both the bottle and the sprayer (isopropyl alcohol or ethanol) and let them dry completely. Before use, rinse the sprayer with clean water and press it several times "empty" so it draws the contents. Repeat the procedure when changing contents. Otherwise, residues of fragrance or cleaning ingredients in the tube and nozzle will be carried over into the new product.

The PET bottle copes well with water, alcohol in common cosmetic concentrations and surfactant solutions. For formulations with a higher proportion of essential oils or with solvents (citrus terpenes, degreasers), we recommend first verifying the packaging's behaviour with the specific formulation. The plastic may soften or become cloudy over time. The same recommendation applies to the seal and spring of the sprayer.

The bottle is not intended for hot filling; let the contents cool before pouring. The set is suitable for repeated use; after thorough cleaning it can be refilled. For recycling, separate the bottle and the sprayer; the PET bottle belongs with plastics.
