Clear plastic jar with black lid represents a practical and visually clean container for neat packaging of various cosmetic and galenic preparations. The transparent jar allows immediate inspection of the contents, which is advantageous for products where colour, texture or remaining quantity are important. In combination with the precisely fitting lid, it creates a reliable packaging suitable for creamy, gel-based and finely powdered formulations.
Thanks to the durable plastic material, this jar is popular in the production of artisan and natural cosmetics, where reliable closure and easy handling are required. The packaging is designed for safe storage of the product during normal use, while the smooth surface of the jar enables convenient labelling with a sticker or print as needed.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure the packaging works reliably with your specific product throughout the entire period of use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the jar is practical for rich and semi-solid cosmetic products such as body butters, ointment bases or balms. The wide opening of the container makes it easier to scoop out the product with fingers or a spatula, and the sturdy lid helps maintain the consistency even with frequent opening and closing. Before final use, we always recommend testing the behaviour of the specific formulation in the packaging under normal storage conditions.
The jar can be reused provided that hygiene principles are observed. With each product change or after the original contents have been used up, it is important to clean the packaging thoroughly and disinfect it before refilling with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the shelf life of your product.
First mechanically remove any residues of the original product, then wash the jar with lukewarm water and a suitable detergent and rinse thoroughly. After it has completely dried, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface and the lid with an alcohol solution, for example using isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. When handling, pay attention to having clean hands and tools in order to minimise the risk of contamination of the new filling.
If you decide not to use the jar any further, we recommend sorting it into separated waste according to the material type specified in the product parameters. Before placing it in the collection bin, empty the packaging as much as possible of any remaining product. If, according to the labelling, it is intended to be sorted as plastic, dispose of it in the plastic waste container in accordance with local sorting rules. In this way you support responsible handling of packaging and the return of raw materials into the recycling cycle.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the relevant packaging category. After clicking on the category at the top of the page, you will find the option to filter according to several parameters such as neck type, size, colour or material. Thanks to these filters you can quickly narrow down the selection to packaging that matches your formulation and visual requirements and choose the most suitable bottle, jar or vial for your specific project.
The jar is also a suitable choice for smaller trial, sample or travel-size cosmetic packaging. It allows you to take a smaller amount from a larger stock, separate it hygienically and offer it to clients for testing, or prepare a practical travel-size pack. For travel packaging, we recommend checking the sealing and behaviour of the packaging during transport so that you can be sure the product remains securely closed.
