Product description

The clear plastic cup is a practical container for hygienic packaging and storage of products that are used repeatedly and require convenient access to the contents. The crucible is made of PET and is suitable for both cosmetic and food use. The clear design allows quick visual inspection of the contents and is ideal for cream, paste, gel and loose products.

Application possibilities

  • Cosmetic products: creams, body butters, balms, face and body masks, scrubs, gels, hair and styling pastes
  • Extracts, oils, aromatic blends: balms and more oily blends, thick aromatic formulations, blends for application with clean hands or spatula
  • Food uses: nut butters, pastes and spreads, spice and bulk mixtures, dry raw materials, beverage mixtures

Packaging advantages

  • Material stability: PET is a light and strong plastic suitable for normal handling during filling and use
  • Content control: the clear design makes it easy to see the quantity and condition of the product
  • Storage protection: the resealable cup helps protect the product from dust and common environmental contamination

Combination with closures and dispensers

Packaging and closure combinations that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).

Technical parameters

All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can the cup be reused?

Yes, the container can be reused, provided that hygiene principles are observed. Before each refill, the crucible should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, for example with IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, vegetable (ALK001 / ALK002), and allowed to dry completely.

Is it appropriate to expose the PET crucible to high temperatures?

It is not advisable to expose the PET material to high temperatures as there is a risk of deformation of the packaging. The crucible is not dishwasher safe or suitable for boiling.

For which product consistencies is the crucible best suited?

It is most practical for creamy, pasty and gel products, as well as for loose mixtures that are taken directly from the packaging. For specific formulations, we recommend doing your own compatibility test.

How do I safely dispose of and recycle packaging if I don't want to reuse it?

If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. The cup is made of PET plastic and belongs in the sorted plastic collection according to local rules. Before sorting, please empty the packaging and remove any residual product.

You have a lot of packaging on offer - how do I find the right one for my product?

Use the advanced filter at the top of the page by clicking on a specific category to select the appropriate packaging. You can filter by neck, size, colour and material to quickly find the packaging that matches your formulation and use.

Plastic lid with membrane in black finish.

Material: PP
Colour: black
Inner diameter: 100 mm
Diameter: 103 mm
Height: 16.3 mm

The white membrane is a sealing liner designed under the lid of the cups to help create a cleaner, more hygienic and more stable seal between the container and the cap. In practice, it serves as an additional barrier - reducing the risk of contents leaking into the thread, helping to protect the product from dust and moisture from the outside environment and increasing the comfort of handling the cup. According to the enclosed certificate, the packaging material is suitable for use with cosmetic products and is also suitable for direct contact with all types of food.

Possible applications

  • Cosmetic products: creams, balms, masks, scrubs, pastes and other products in cups where a clean closure is important
  • Extracts, oils, aromatic mixtures: products packed in jars and crucibles where it is advisable to add a sealing layer to the closure (self-test for compatibility is recommended)
  • Food applications: dry mixes, powdered supplements, teas, spices, pastes and foods packed in crucibles, where it is necessary to restrict the access of moisture and improve the tightness of the closure

Packaging advantages

  • EPE (expanded polyethylene)material is a lightweight and flexible sealing material that helps smooth out minor unevenness when tightening the closure.
  • Improved leak tightness - the membrane forms a barrier between the cup and the closure and reduces the risk of leakage and contents seeping into the thread.
  • Protection of contents - helps limit access of dust and moisture from the surrounding area during normal storage.
  • Universal use for both cosmetics and food as suitability for both is confirmed in the attestation.

Combination with closures and dispensers

The packaging and closure combinations, which are created directly at Handymade, are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (seal, closure and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for oily, aromatic or volatile ingredients.

Technical parameters

All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

You offer a lot of packaging - how do I find the right one for my product?

We recommend using the advanced filter, which can be found at the top of the page by clicking on the selected category. You can filter by: neck, size, color, material - this will quickly narrow your selection to compatible packaging and components.

What is the membrane under the lid of the cup used for?

The membrane creates an additional sealing layer between the cup and the cap. It helps to improve leak tightness, limit product leakage into the thread and protects the contents from external influences during storage.

Is the membrane suitable for use with cosmetics?

Yes. According to the enclosed certificate, the packaging material is suitable for use with cosmetic products and meets the relevant legislative requirements for this type of use.

Can I use the membrane with food?

Yes. According to the attestation, the packaging material is suitable for direct contact with all types of food. For a specific product, we recommend testing the entire crucible + closure combination in real storage conditions.

Can the membrane be reused?

Yes, the membrane can be reused repeatedly if hygiene principles are followed. Before each reuse, the membrane should be cleaned and disinfected (ALK001 / ALK002), e.g. with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. Always check at the same time that the membrane is not damaged or deformed so that it can reliably fulfil its sealing function.

How do I safely dispose of and recycle the membrane if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the membrane, we recommend recycling it. As it is an EPE material, in practice it is classed as a plastic. Please dispose of the membrane in a sorted plastics collection in accordance with local rules and the instructions of your collection company.
