Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging and then disinfecting it, ideally using a suitable alcohol-based agent, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. Only after it has completely dried is the packaging ready for refilling.

To minimize the risk of leakage or drying, it is important not to overfill the jar and to leave an appropriate headspace under the rim during filling. The lid must always be tightened firmly, and for the first use we recommend carrying out your own test – leave the filled container for several hours in the required position (for example lying on its side) and check the sealing. With thick creams and butters, it is also advisable to ensure that the rim of the neck remains clean and free from product residues.

First, mechanically remove any product residues from the jar, then wash it in lukewarm water with a suitable cleaning agent and rinse thoroughly. After washing, we recommend disinfecting the packaging with an alcohol-based product, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based, and allowing it to dry completely at room temperature. Do not use aggressive chemicals or high temperatures, so as to preserve the integrity of the material and the sealing surfaces.

If you decide not to use the jar any longer, we recommend emptying it as much as possible and removing any product residues. The method of recycling is determined by the material designation indicated in the product parameters and on the packaging itself. According to the indicated symbol and material description, sort the jar into the appropriate container for plastic waste in accordance with local sorting rules. Sort the lid and the container depending on whether they are made of the same or different materials. In this way, you support efficient processing of plastic waste and reduce the environmental burden.
