The integrated dispenser is ideal especially for liquid and semi-liquid preparations, such as toners, light emulsions, body lotions or facial creams with low to medium viscosity. With very thick creams, dosing may be more difficult, so we always recommend performing a test with a smaller amount of product before the final filling and verifying whether the pump ensures smooth and even dispensing.

The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. However, before each new filling it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the dispenser and disinfect them with a suitable alcohol preparation, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Always carry out disinfection on a clean, dry surface, let the alcohol evaporate completely and only then refill the packaging, in order to ensure maximum hygiene and product stability.

For routine cleaning we recommend using lukewarm water with a mild cleaning agent, then rinsing the packaging thoroughly and letting it dry. Avoid aggressive chemicals and abrasive sponges, which could scratch the glossy surface. If you plan to refill the packaging, disinfect it after washing with alcohol (for example IPA or ethanol from the Handymade range) and let it dry completely. If it is a plastic that is more sensitive to heat, it is not recommended to expose it to high temperatures, boiling, or washing in a dishwasher, because this may lead to deformation or weakening of the material.

If you decide not to use the packaging any more, we recommend first, as far as possible, to empty it completely and remove any product residues. Then check the material designation given in the parameter table at the product on the Handymade website and, according to this designation, place the packaging in the appropriate sorted waste stream (for example plastic in the yellow container). In the case of a combination of different materials (bottle body, pump, dip tube), it is ideal to separate them before disposal, so that recycling can take place as efficiently as possible in accordance with local waste-sorting rules.
