The plastic bottle with spray pump represents a practical and elegant packaging intended for convenient dispensing of liquid preparations in the form of a fine mist. Thanks to the combination of a durable plastic body and a functional spray pump, it is suitable for packaging a wide range of cosmetic and cleaning products where controlled and hygienic application to the skin, hair or surfaces is important. The darker shade of the bottle also helps protect more sensitive contents from undesirable effects of light, which contributes to the stability of the composition during storage.
This bottle is supplied directly with a spray pump and has been configured on Handymade.sk as a functional combination of packaging and applicator. The combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for preparations with a higher content of alcohol, oils or active substances.

The spray pump is optimal mainly for aqueous solutions, hydrolats and low-viscosity liquids. Thick emulsions, gels or heavy oil blends may reduce the quality of the spray pattern and increase the risk of clogging of the mechanism. For non-standard formulations we always recommend carrying out a trial filling and testing the behaviour of the spray pump during long-term use.
The packaging can be reused provided that basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA or ethanol-type products available in the Handymade.sk range (e.g. isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of plant origin). After complete drying, the packaging can be refilled, while it is important to avoid the neck and dip tube of the spray pump coming into contact with contaminated surfaces.
We recommend first rinsing the bottle with warm water and, if necessary, using a mild cleaning agent suitable for contact with the relevant type of product. It is then advisable to rinse both the container and the spray mechanism with clean water, allow them to drain and dry completely. Before refilling, ensure that the internal surfaces are disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution and allow the alcohol to evaporate completely so that the stability of the new contents is not disrupted.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it where possible. Before disposal, it is advisable to empty the container and remove any product residues. Recycling recommendations are based on the material indicated in the product parameters on Handymade.sk – depending on the type of plastic, place the packaging in the appropriate collection container intended for sorted collection of plastics. It is advisable to separate the spray pump from the bottle body so that the individual parts can be sorted more effectively in accordance with local waste management rules.
