The plastic bottle with spray pump is a practical and professional-looking packaging solution for various types of liquid formulations intended for external use. The brown version helps reduce light penetration to more sensitive components and, together with the high-quality plastic material, contributes to the stability and protection of the contents during storage and normal handling. The elegant black spray pump with a glossy ring gives the bottle a representative appearance suitable for finished products as well as test samples.
This bottle is supplied directly with a spray pump, and combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test focused on sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The bottle can be reused provided that hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging and disinfecting the inner part of the bottle as well as the spray pump. Alcohol-based solutions are particularly suitable for disinfection, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to drain thoroughly and dry completely.
Before filling, make sure that the packaging is clean and dry. Do not fill the bottle completely to the brim so that there is space left for the thread and for the immersion of the spray pump dip tube. After screwing on the spray pump, press it several times until the system “primes” and starts dosing evenly. If you change the type of formulation (for example from a water-based to an oil-based system), we recommend thoroughly cleaning or replacing the spray pump itself as well, so that changes in dosing or nozzle clogging do not occur.
After the contents have been used up, disassemble the bottle, rinse it with a suitable cleaning agent and water, and then disinfect it with an alcohol solution (for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). We recommend rinsing the spray pump with a small amount of alcohol by drawing it into the system and actuating the pump several times to discharge it. After cleaning, allow all parts to dry thoroughly at room temperature before refilling the packaging.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the material designation specified in the product parameters. Before handing it over for recycling, empty the bottle and remove any remaining contents. Then sort the packaging into the appropriate container according to the type of plastic, and, if necessary, separate the bottle and the spray pump if they are made of different materials. Current recycling recommendations and material designation can be found in the parameter table of the specific product on Handymade.sk.
To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the extended filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. In the extended filter you can clearly choose parameters such as neck type, packaging size, colour and material, thereby narrowing down the offer only to packaging suitable for your specific product. In this way you can easily find compatible bottles, dropper bottles, jars and the corresponding closures or dispensers.
The bottle with spray pump is intended primarily for low- to medium-viscosity liquids that can be evenly dispersed in the form of a mist. These include, for example, water-based or hydrolat-based solutions, light facial and body sprays, hair tonics or alcohol-based room fresheners. For more viscous emulsions or oils, we always recommend performing a dosing test or choosing another type of closure that is structurally adapted to this viscosity.
