Plastic bottle with matte closure represents a practical and reliable packaging suitable for both professional and hobby filling of various liquid preparations. Thanks to the material used, it offers stable properties during normal use and hygienic storage of products. The brown design helps protect more sensitive contents from external influences during storage and transport. The packaging is ideal for liquid products that require comfortable dosing and secure closing, while also supporting an aesthetically uniform appearance of your brand.
This product represents a combination of packaging and closure that is ready for immediate use. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – check the sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging and closure in contact with your specific formulation, especially for products with a high content of alcohol, active substances or with atypical pH.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Before first use we recommend thoroughly cleaning and drying the bottle and the cap. For professional use it is appropriate to also disinfect the packaging – for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. On Handymade you will find suitable products for disinfection, such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant‑based. After treatment, let the packaging dry completely so that no residues of the cleaning agent or moisture remain in it.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, ideally for the same or a similar type of product. Before each new filling it is necessary to wash the packaging thoroughly, check the integrity of the material and then disinfect it – for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or 96 % plant‑based ethanol. Only after it has completely dried is it appropriate to fill a new formulation into the packaging. When changing the type of product (for example from oil‑based to water‑based), we recommend first testing whether any fragrance or residues of the original preparation remain in the packaging.
For plastic packaging it is necessary to avoid high temperatures, which may lead to undesirable softening or deformation of the material. We do not recommend boiling the bottle or the closure, heating them in an oven or microwave, or washing them in a dishwasher. For cleaning it is appropriate to use lukewarm water, a mild cleaning agent and then disinfection using alcohol intended for this purpose. In this way you will prolong the service life of the packaging and maintain its proper functionality.
For thicker emulsions or oils we recommend using a funnel or a suitable filling aid in order to prevent contamination of the neck and the thread. Do not overfill the bottle – leave a small air space that will make closing and handling easier. If you are working with formulations containing a higher proportion of alcohol, essential oils or active substances, we recommend first carrying out a trial filling into one piece, observing the packaging for several days and checking whether there are any changes in colour, softening or leaks.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. First empty the contents, rinse the packaging of product residues and, according to the recycling marking in the product parameters, place the bottle and the closure in the appropriate container for sorted waste. In case of doubt, follow the symbols and description of the material listed with the product on Handymade and the rules of your collection system. In this way you will support a responsible approach to the environment and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
The simplest way to choose suitable packaging is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material category. After clicking on the relevant category, a filtering option appears at the top of the page, where you can select parameters such as neck type, packaging size, colour or material. Thanks to this, you will quickly narrow down the selection only to those bottles, dropper bottles, jars or pots that match your concept as well as the technical requirements of the specific product.
