The plastic bottle with spray dispenser is a universal packaging solution suitable for hygiene, cleaning and cosmetic formulations that need to be applied as a fine mist. The ergonomic shape and lightweight plastic material allow comfortable handling for everyday home use as well as in a professional environment. Thanks to the high-quality construction of the spray dispenser, the packaging is suitable for filling liquid products that require even distribution on the skin, hair, surfaces or textiles.
The plastic packaging with spray dispenser is designed to ensure reliable dispensing and to minimise unwanted leakage of the contents when handled correctly. The durable bottle material protects the product against normal mechanical stress during storage and transport. The spray dispenser with protective cap also increases the hygiene of use, so the packaging is suitable for repeated use provided the recommended hygiene principles are followed.
This bottle with spray dispenser forms a functional unit in which the dosing is adapted to the fine dispersion of the liquid. Combinations of containers and closures created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product specifications.
For plastic packaging made of PET material, it is necessary to observe the correct conditions of use. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, therefore it is not recommended to leave it for a long time in direct sunlight, near heat sources or in an overheated car. In the case of excessive thermal load, there is a risk of deformation of the packaging, which may affect the tightness and functionality of the spray dispenser. It also applies that the packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling, as elevated temperatures may negatively affect the shape and properties of the plastic.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it properly in accordance with the material designation given in the product specifications. After thoroughly emptying and basic rinsing, the bottle and the spray dispenser should be placed in the appropriate fraction of the separate collection system so that the material can be used as efficiently as possible in the recycling process.
The bottle with spray dispenser can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. Alcohol-based solutions are suitable for disinfection, for example IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry thoroughly and check the functionality of the spray dispenser before using it again.
First empty the bottle and the spray dispenser and rinse them with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm (not boiling) water and a mild surfactant. We then recommend disinfecting the packaging using alcohol-based products, for example IPA 99 – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based, which are used in an appropriate amount to rinse the internal surface and to spray through the mechanism of the spray dispenser. After disinfection, leave all parts to dry freely at room temperature and only then refill the bottle.
The bottle made of PET material is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures. Do not expose it to prolonged direct sunlight, do not leave it in an overheated car or near heat sources. PET plastic is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling, as it may deform and the tightness or functionality of the spray dispenser may deteriorate. For cleaning, use lukewarm water, a mild surfactant and subsequent disinfection with an alcohol-based product instead.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, environmentally friendly disposal via separate collection is recommended. First completely empty the bottle and the spray dispenser and, where possible, give them a basic rinse so that no residues of the original product remain. Then follow the material designation given in the product specifications – according to the relevant symbol, place the packaging in the correct container for plastic waste. In this way you support the recycling of the material and reduce the amount of municipal waste.
The simplest way to select suitable packaging is to use the extended filter in the packaging materials category. After clicking on the relevant category, you will find the extended filter at the top of the page where you can set your requirements in detail. You can filter by neck type, size, colour and packaging material, and it is possible to combine several parameters at the same time. This way you can quickly narrow down the offer to only those bottles, medicine bottles, jars or containers that best match the properties of your product and the chosen dosing method.
A spray dispenser is ideal for low-viscosity liquid formulations that are to be applied as a fine mist or spray – for example face and body toners, floral waters, hair styling sprays, textile fresheners or light disinfectant solutions. For thicker emulsions or oils, it may be more appropriate to choose a pump or another type of dispenser that is adapted to the higher viscosity of the product. Within the Handymade range you can combine different types of containers and closures according to the needs of the specific formulation, and for each new combination we recommend carrying out your own functional test of dosing and sealing.
