The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, especially for your own cosmetic and household formulations. However, before each new filling, the bottle and the sprayer must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination. We recommend using a disinfectant suitable for packaging, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol – you will find them in the range as IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol and Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. After disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely and only then refill them.

During long-term use, product residues may deposit in the tube or nozzle of the sprayer, especially with blends containing oils or herbal extracts. We recommend occasionally unscrewing the sprayer from the bottle and rinsing it with clean water or a suitable solvent according to the type of formulation, then actuating it to flush out and remove any deposits. After rinsing, allow the components to dry at room temperature. Avoid using sharp objects in the nozzle to prevent mechanical damage.

This type of packaging is optimized mainly for low-viscosity aqueous solutions, hydrolats, gentle toners and light blends suitable for spraying. Thick emulsions, balms or heavy oils may impair the function of the mechanism, cause uneven dosing or clogging of the nozzle. If you plan to use a slightly viscous product, we recommend first testing a small amount, monitoring the smoothness of spraying and, if necessary, adjusting the formula or choosing another type of dispensing system.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters. Follow the recycling symbol and material marking in the parameter table on the product page – based on this, sort the packaging into the appropriate plastic container. Before disposal, it is advisable to rinse the bottle and remove any product residues. The sprayer, which may contain a combination of several materials, should be sorted according to local waste management rules; if complete sorting is not possible, dispose of it in mixed waste. In this way, you will support more efficient recycling and reduce the amount of waste.
