The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spraying mechanism must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally with alcohol-based preparations such as isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 %) or plant ethanol (Ethanol 96 % denatured plant). This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and preserves the quality of the filled product.

For which types of preparations is this spray packaging most suitable?

The bottle with spray mechanism is ideal for liquid preparations that are to be applied in the form of a fine mist or spray. It is most often used for body and facial waters, room fresheners, hair sprays, hydrolats, cleansing solutions and working solutions for hand-made creation. Thick gels, highly viscous emulsions or blends with a significant content of solid particles may reduce the smoothness of spraying.

How should the sprayer be properly cleaned and maintained to prevent clogging?

After the contents have been used up, we recommend rinsing the bottle and the sprayer with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, and then pumping clean water through the mechanism several times to remove any residual product from the dip tube and nozzle. Before reuse, it is advisable to disinfect the packaging with alcohol and allow it to dry thoroughly. Avoid using very thick preparations or blends with large solid particles that could clog the nozzle.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this packaging once it has reached the end of its service life?

If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters. Before placing it in sorted waste, empty the bottle, rinse out any residues of the preparation and remove as much dirt as possible.
