Plastic bottle with trigger sprayer represents a practical packaging solution for fine and even spraying of various liquids in cosmetics as well as in the household. Thanks to its ergonomic shape and reliable mechanism, it is suitable for filling products where comfortable and controlled application in the form of a mist or fine spray is important. The transparent design allows for easy visual control of the contents and fill level, which makes work easier both during filling and in everyday use.
The packaging is ideal for liquid formulations that require even atomisation onto the skin, hair, surfaces or textiles. The trigger sprayer provides convenient dosing without the need for direct contact with the contents, thus supporting hygiene and reducing the risk of contamination. Thanks to the appropriately chosen plastic material, the bottle is lightweight, easy to carry and practical when travelling or for professional use in salons.
This bottle is supplied as a complete set with a trigger sprayer and is designed so that it is compatible with different types of closures and dosing methods available on Handymade according to the selected parameters. When choosing a different neck finish or accessories, you can use options such as screw caps, droppers, other sprayers or practical applicators.
Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the seal, the reliability of dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
When working with plastic packaging, it is important to take into account the recommended conditions of use specified in the product documentation. If the parameters state that the packaging is made of PET material, it is not suitable to expose it to high temperatures, because this may lead to deformation of the bottle, weakening of the walls or damage to the thread. Such packaging is not intended for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. For cleaning, prefer manual rinsing and disinfection according to the recommendations in the FAQ section.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, it is recommended to recycle it in accordance with the material marking given in the product parameters (type of plastic and the respective collection container). Before placing it in sorted waste collection, it is advisable to empty the bottle and remove any product residues.
You can use the bottle repeatedly if you observe hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Disinfection helps to reduce the risk of microbial contamination during further use. After applying the alcohol, allow the bottle and sprayer to dry thoroughly at room temperature.
First, disassemble the bottle and the sprayer into individual parts that can be safely separated without damage. Rinse the inside of the container with warm (not boiling) water and, if necessary, with a mild, non-aggressive cleaning agent. Then apply disinfection – pour a small amount of an alcohol solution (e.g. IPA or ethanol) into the bottle, close it with the sprayer and press several times so that the alcohol also enters the inside of the mechanism. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry at room temperature away from a direct source of heat. For PET material, avoid high temperatures, the dishwasher and boiling.
The bottle is not intended for filling with hot or freshly sterilised solutions with high temperature. If the packaging is made of PET, exposure to heat may lead to its deformation, weakening of the walls or deterioration of the sprayer seal. It is advisable to fill solutions only after they have completely cooled down to room temperature. In this way you protect not only the packaging but also the stability of your own formulation.
If you no longer plan to use the bottle repeatedly, it is recommended to recycle it according to the type of material stated in the product parameters (plastic marking and respective recycling symbol). Before handing it over for sorted collection, remove the remaining contents, where possible separate the individual parts (bottle, sprayer, any tube) and place the packaging in the container intended for that type of plastic. If the material is marked as PET in the parameters, it standardly belongs in the container for plastic waste. By recycling you conserve resources and reduce the amount of municipal waste.
The trigger sprayer is optimised mainly for liquid, low-viscosity, water-based solutions. Thick emulsions, gels or products with a high oil content may reduce the smoothness of spraying or partially clog the nozzle. For oil-based or more viscous formulations, it is advisable to first test the functionality of the mechanism on a small trial batch. If you need to dose purely oil blends, consider using another type of dispenser (for example a pump or dropper) within a compatible neck finish.
To select a suitable bottle, vial or jar, you can use the extended filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the selected packaging category. In the extended filter you can easily set the required parameters – type and diameter of the neck, size and volume of the packaging, colour, material or a specific dosing method. This allows you to quickly narrow down the range to packaging that is technically and visually the most suitable for your specific formulation or product line.
