The bottle can be used repeatedly, provided that basic hygiene principles are observed and there is no mechanical damage to the packaging or the spray pump. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the packaging, including the spray pump, and disinfect it with a suitable product, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for disinfection. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. However, PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, so do not boil the packaging and do not wash it in a dishwasher.

Before reuse, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent and then with clean water at room temperature. Afterwards, it is advisable to ensure disinfection of the inner surface as well as the mechanism of the spray pump using alcohol. It is practical to use a small amount of isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example from the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, shake the bottle several times and spray part of the solution through the spray pump. After disinfection, let the packaging dry thoroughly at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight.

The PET packaging is not intended for use at high temperatures. It is not recommended to expose the bottle to direct sunlight, sources of intense heat or to leave it in an overheated car. High temperature may lead to deformation of the bottle or affect the function of the spray pump. The packaging is not suitable for boiling, sterilization with hot steam or washing in a dishwasher. When cleaning, use only lukewarm water and gentle procedures in order to preserve the shape and functionality of the bottle.

If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it properly according to the material type specified in the product parameters. The plastic packaging is normally intended for sorting into the appropriate container for plastics, and it is advisable to remove any remaining contents and rinse the packaging. The spray pump may be made from a combination of several plastics, so follow local waste-sorting rules. Before disposal, check the recycling symbol in the parameter table next to the product on the Handymade.sk website and follow the separated waste collection system in your municipality.
