The transparent plastic bottle with smooth white cap and reducer insert is a practical and versatile container suitable for precise dispensing of liquid products. Thanks to its transparent design, you can always keep the fill level and appearance of the contents under control, which is useful for cosmetics, homemade formulations as well as professional products. The reducer insert in the cap allows more controlled pouring or application, contributing to more economical and cleaner use of the product.
The container is ideal for packaging liquid preparations where convenient dosing and an overview of the contents are important – from facial lotions and toners to serums, solutions or homemade cleaning blends. The plastic bottle made from durable material is lightweight, unbreakable and suitable for everyday use in the bathroom, around the home and when travelling.
This type of bottle is a stand-alone container that is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the parameters selected for products in the category. It can be combined with screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators, as long as they have the same neck and are listed on the site as suitable combinations.
The combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – check sealing, dosing comfort and the behaviour of the container in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).

If this container is made from PET material, it is necessary to take into account the specifics of this plastic: PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures; with long-term exposure to heat or local overheating, there is a risk of deformation of the container. Such a container is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. For cleaning, we recommend gentle hand-washing in suitably warm (not boiling) water, followed by disinfection with an appropriate alcohol-based preparation according to the type of fill.
If you decide not to use the container further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the material information given in the parameter table for the product. According to the plastic type listed there, place the container in the relevant bin or collection system for sorted waste; before recycling, empty the container and remove any remaining product residues.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene principles are followed and as long as the material and sealing do not show signs of damage or fatigue. Before each new filling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using high-percentage alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or 96% ethanol of plant origin. Only after the internal space has completely dried is it appropriate to refill the bottle. For PET containers, avoid boiling or very hot water to prevent deformation of the material.
First rinse the bottle thoroughly with lukewarm water and, depending on the type of the previous filling, use a mild cleaning agent suitable for the given material. We then recommend disinfecting the container with an alcohol-based preparation – for example, with products based on isopropyl alcohol or ethanol available on Handymade, such as IPA 99% or 96% denatured plant ethanol. After applying the disinfectant, allow the bottle to drain thoroughly and dry at room temperature. For PET material, do not use hot steam or boiling to avoid deformation of the container.
The recycling method depends on the type of plastic, which is indicated in the parameter table for the product. According to the pictogram or abbreviation (for example PET, HDPE, etc.), place the empty and as thoroughly rinsed as possible bottle in the appropriate bin for sorted waste. Recycle the cap and any reducer insert according to their material, which may differ from the body of the bottle. If you are unsure about local sorting rules, follow the recommendations of your collection system. Before placing it in the bin, we recommend compressing the container so that it takes up less space.
The design of the bottle with smooth screw cap and reducer insert is particularly suitable for liquid products of low to medium viscosity, where flow control and clean dosing are important. These include, for example, facial lotions, toners, hair lotions, mild water- or alcohol-based solutions, and other technical and auxiliary solutions that do not tend to clog the reducer. Before final use, we always recommend verifying the compatibility of your specific formula with the container material using a trial batch.
