Is it possible to use this plastic bottle with spray pump repeatedly?

Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly in normal use, provided it is not mechanically damaged and basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each refilling, the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the disinfectant, allow all parts to dry well and only then refill the container.

How should I correctly clean the bottle and spray pump before the next use?

The bottle should first be rinsed with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent, thoroughly rinsed with clean water and then disinfected with a suitable alcoholic solution (for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol). The spray pump should be “sprayed through” several times with the cleaning and then the disinfecting solution so that the inner capillary is cleaned. After cleaning, allow all parts to air-dry at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

What type of products is this spray pump most suitable for?

The spray pump is most suitable for liquid, low-viscosity formulations – for example facial and body sprays, hydrolats, tonics, hair sprays, disinfectant solutions or light aromatic sprays. With thicker emulsions or oil blends, dosing may be impaired, therefore it is recommended to carry out a trial filling in advance and to test the fineness and smoothness of spraying.

How should I correctly recycle this packaging if I no longer want to use it repeatedly?

When recycling, it is important to follow the material designation indicated in the product parameter table and the corresponding recycling symbol. Before placing it in sorted collection, we recommend emptying the packaging and giving it a basic rinse to minimise product residues. Place the bottle and the spray pump in the container according to the type of plastic, in accordance with local waste-sorting rules. In this way you support effective processing and re-use of the raw material in the recycling process.
