The bottle can be used repeatedly provided that strict hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% denatured plant-based ethanol. Only after the inner surface is completely dry is the packaging ready for further use, in order to minimise the risk of product contamination.

First unscrew the spray pump from the bottle and rinse it with lukewarm water to remove residues of the product. Then you can flush the dip-tube system and the spray head with clean alcohol and “pump” several times so that the alcohol passes through the entire mechanism. After disinfection, let all parts dry thoroughly at room temperature. Avoid the use of aggressive solvents and high temperatures that could shorten the service life of the spray pump.

The bottle is suitable for common cosmetic and cleaning formulations, including many products containing alcohol and essential oils. However, given the different compositions of individual recipes, we recommend always performing a compatibility test – fill a small amount of the product, leave it to stand for a certain time and monitor any changes to the packaging (softening, deformation, colour change) as well as to the spray pump functionality. If you notice undesirable changes, choose a more suitable type of packaging or another dosing method.

If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend first emptying it completely and removing any product residues. Then separate the packaging according to the materials used (bottle body and spray mechanism) and sort them into the appropriate containers in accordance with the information given in the product parameters. Follow local recycling rules and always aim for the lowest possible environmental burden – either by reusing the packaging or by sorting it correctly into the recycling system.
