To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the chosen category (for example bottles, jars or sprayers). In the advanced filter you can clearly narrow down the range according to several parameters – in particular according to the type and size of the neck, the total volume or size of the packaging, the colour and the material. This allows you to quickly find a combination of container and closure that will meet the technical and visual requirements of your product.

The bottle can be reused if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are observed. However, before each new filling it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Disinfection before filling reduces the risk of microbial contamination and helps maintain the stability of the finished product.

When cleaning the trigger sprayer, we recommend first emptying the contents of the container, then spraying the mechanism several times with clean water to remove residues of the original formulation. Afterwards it is advisable to briefly spray through with a disinfecting alcohol solution as well, which cleans the internal channels. After disinfection, allow the sprayer to air-dry at room temperature. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or high temperatures, which could damage the plastic parts and seals.

The packaging with trigger sprayer is most suitable for low- to medium-viscosity liquids which the mechanism can easily draw in and spray as a fine or medium droplet spray. Ideal are aqueous solutions, hydrolats, alcohol-based blends, light water–alcohol cleaners and certain emulsion or two-phase preparations (provided they do not clog the nozzle). Dense creamy or gel products, or blends containing larger solid particles, are not suitable for this type of packaging, as they may make dosing difficult or impossible.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend handing it over for recycling according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters. Before placing it in the appropriate recycling container, empty and rinse the bottle as much as possible to reduce the amount of residual product. If necessary, the bottle and trigger sprayer can be separated and sorted according to local plastic collection rules. By following the recommended recycling principles, you help reduce the amount of waste and support the reuse of materials in the recycling process.
