The plastic bottle with fine sprayer represents a practical packaging for convenient application of liquid preparations in the form of a mist or spray. Thanks to the high-quality material and functional spray head, it is suitable for packaging cosmetic solutions, cleaning sprays, hair or body care, as well as other liquid mixtures where even dosing onto the surface or skin is important. Is it possible to use this bottle repeatedly?

Yes, this packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the sprayer and then disinfect them with a suitable agent, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. When reusing, always check the functionality of the sprayer and the visual cleanliness of all parts of the packaging.

How should I properly clean and disinfect the packaging before new filling?

First rinse the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution and clean water to remove all residues of the original product. Afterwards we recommend rinsing the inner surface and the components of the sprayer with a disinfectant based on alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, let all parts dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use boiling or washing at very high temperatures so that the plastic or sealing elements are not damaged.

Can I use this bottle for products with a higher content of alcohol or essential oils?

The packaging is generally suitable for various types of liquid preparations, but we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test with the specific formulation. With a higher content of alcohol or essential oils it is important to monitor whether the material of the bottle or parts of the sprayer do not deform over time, whether the colour, scent or consistency of the product does not change and whether there is no weakening of the sealing. Leave a test sample to stand for several weeks and continuously check the condition of the packaging as well as the functionality of the sprayer.

How should I correctly recycle this plastic bottle if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material stated in the product parameters on the Handymade website. Empty the bottle before disposal and, if necessary, rinse out the product residues. Then sort the packaging into the appropriate container according to the type of plastic indicated in the recycling symbol. The sprayer may be made of a combination of several materials, therefore it is advisable to follow the information in the parameters and local waste sorting rules. By correct sorting you support the reuse of raw materials and reduce the amount of municipal waste.
