The plastic bottle with a matte screw cap represents a practical and aesthetic packaging for various liquid and semi-liquid products in cosmetics as well as in home-made formulations. The durable plastic material ensures reliable closure and protection of the contents during normal use, while the clear bottle shape makes handling, dosing and storage easier. Thanks to its compact design, it is suitable for home recipes, craft products and smaller production batches.
Bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters for the specific product. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with your specific formulation (viscosity, content of oils, alcohols or active substances).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters. Before finally implementing the packaging in production, we recommend carefully studying the available documentation and verifying compatibility with the composition of your product using a test batch.
The bottle is a universal packaging for many liquid and lightly viscous cosmetic products, but it is always necessary to verify the compatibility of the specific formulation with the plastic used. We recommend preparing a small test batch, filling it into the bottle and monitoring the stability over several days – changes in colour, scent, consistency and any softening or change of the packaging surface. If you are working with a higher content of alcohol, essential oils or acids, your own test is especially important.
The packaging can be reused for home and craft purposes, provided that you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol solution, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the product being prepared.
Store the plastic packaging in a dry, clean place, protected from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Avoid storing it near solvents or strongly aromatic substances without closure, so that the material is not adversely affected. Do not overfill full bottles above the recommended filling level and, during transport, ensure that the closures are securely tightened and that the packaging is protected from deformation by mechanical pressure.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend, after emptying and basic rinsing, placing it in sorted waste according to the material indicated in the product parameters on the website. Before disposal, separate the cap from the bottle so that the individual parts can enter the appropriate recycling stream. If the packaging contained strongly coloured, highly pigmented or specific chemical mixtures, dispose of any remaining contents in accordance with local waste regulations and only then recycle the packaging.
To quickly find suitable packaging, use the advanced filter in the packaging materials category. After clicking on the relevant category, you will find the filter at the top of the page, where you can clearly sort products according to several parameters – especially neck type, size, colour and material. This allows you to easily narrow down the selection only to bottles, jars or pots that match your formulation, design and method of product application.
