The plastic bottle with a transparent trigger sprayer represents a practical packaging for liquid preparations that need to be applied as a fine spray. Thanks to the reliable mechanical sprayer, it is ideal for filling cosmetic and cleaning formulations where even application on the skin, hair, surfaces or textiles is important. The durable plastic packaging ensures safe handling even with everyday use at home, in salons or while travelling.
This type of packaging is designed to protect the contents from contamination during use, minimise the product’s contact with air and at the same time allow convenient dosing in small quantities. The trigger mechanism is suitable for low- to medium-viscosity liquids that need to be dispersed in the form of a spray or fine mist.
This bottle with trigger sprayer forms a functional set in which dosing and sealing are already aligned with the specific type of packaging. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
Within your own testing, we recommend verifying in particular the long-term stability of the product in contact with the plastic material, the behaviour of the sprayer during repeated use and suitable storage at the recommended temperatures.

Since this is a plastic packaging made of PET material, it is necessary to respect the specific characteristics of this material. PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, which pose a risk of deformation of the packaging and deterioration of the sprayer functionality. The packaging is not suitable for dishwashing or boiling. Gentle manual cleaning at lower temperatures is recommended in order to preserve the dimensional stability of the bottle and the sprayer mechanism.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the sprayer and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol solution, for example using the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Disinfection helps minimise the risk of microbial contamination and prolongs the use of the packaging while maintaining product safety.
PET material is not suitable for boiling or for cleaning in a dishwasher. For cleaning, it is recommended to use lukewarm water with a mild detergent and then rinse thoroughly. Avoid high temperatures and aggressive chemicals that could cause deformation or clouding of the plastic. After cleaning, it is advisable to disinfect the packaging with an alcohol solution and allow it to dry completely before refilling.
The bottle with trigger sprayer is intended primarily for low- to medium-viscosity liquids that can be dosed as a spray. Compatibility always depends on the specific composition of the product, especially in the case of formulations with a high content of solvents, oils or aggressive components. Before final use, we recommend performing your own compatibility test – verifying the stability of the plastic, the functionality of the sprayer and the long-term behaviour of the product in the packaging.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle with sprayer, it is recommended to empty it, if necessary rinse out any product residues, and then sort it according to the instructions given in the product parameters. Since this is PET packaging, it is usually placed in the container intended for plastics, and it is advisable to separate the bottle and the sprayer if this is required by the local waste sorting system. Before handing it over for recycling, check the recommendations for recycling plastic packaging in your municipality.

In the advanced filter you can combine several parameters at once – for example the neck, size, colour and material of the packaging. In this way you can quickly narrow down the selection to bottles, jars or pots that are most suitable for your specific formulation and type of use.
When storing, we recommend protecting the packaging from direct sunlight and high temperatures, which may affect the stability of the plastic as well as of the product itself. PET material should not be exposed for a long time to heat sources or to an enclosed space with extremely high temperature (for example in a car in direct sunlight). Ideally, the bottle should be stored in a dry, cooler place, in accordance with the recommendations for the given type of cosmetic or cleaning product.
