The white plastic jar with white lid and double bottom is a practical packaging suitable for filling creamy, gel-like and also firmer products. The rigid plastic container with a precisely fitting lid helps protect the contents from contamination, drying out and normal handling during use and transport. Thanks to its compact shape, the jar is suitable for artisan and small-scale cosmetics, testers and travel sizes.
The inner space of the jar is designed so that cosmetic or other semi-solid mixtures can be easily filled, dispensed and used up to the very last residue. The double bottom creates a professional appearance of the packaging and at the same time helps to better protect the filling when handled on the workbench or in the bathroom.
This product is supplied as a ready-made combination jar + lid. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the jar is suitable for a wide range of creamy, gel-like and firmer mixtures, such as balms, butters or waxes. Thanks to the wider opening, products are easy to fill and during use can be conveniently taken out with fingers or a spatula, which is practical for artisan and natural cosmetics.
The jar can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is important to wash the packaging thoroughly, clean it and then disinfect it, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/){target="_blank"} or Etanol 96 % denaturovany rastlinny (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/){target="_blank"} and only then refill the jar with a new formulation.
First mechanically remove the residues of the original product, then wash the jar with lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent and rinse well. After drying, it is necessary to disinfect the inner surface of the packaging and the lid using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 %. Allow the disinfectant solution to act briefly and let the packaging dry freely so that it is ready for new filling.
If you decide not to use the jar further, we recommend removing product residues before discarding it and, where possible, separating the individual parts of the packaging (jar body and lid). Then proceed according to the recycling recommendations given in the parameter table for this product on the Handymade.sk website – there you will find information on the type of material and the relevant sorting stream. In general, a clean plastic packaging belongs in the sorted plastic waste according to the local collection rules in your municipality or town.
The fastest way is to use the extended filter in the packaging materials category. After clicking on the relevant category at the top of the page, the filtering option appears, where you can comfortably choose the required parameters. Packaging can be sorted by neck type, size, colour and material, which enables you to quickly find the bottle, jar or pot that will best suit your specific formulation and brand design.
