The dispenser is designed primarily for liquid and semi-liquid preparations such as facial and body emulsions, lotions, lighter gels and oils. With very thick creams or balms, dosing may be limited, so we always recommend carrying out a trial filling and testing the smoothness of pumping and the back suction of the product. For very dense formulations, a jar or another type of packaging may be more suitable.

The dispenser can be reused provided that basic hygiene rules are observed and the mechanism is not mechanically damaged. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the whole packaging – the bottle and the dispenser – and then disinfecting it. For disinfection it is suitable to use, for example, isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. This will reduce the risk of microbial contamination and prevent deterioration of the new refill.

Before the final filling, we recommend carrying out a test on a smaller sample of the product. Fill a clean bottle with this dispenser with a smaller amount of the formulation and observe its behaviour over several days. Focus on sealing (whether it does not leak around the thread), the smoothness of pumping, the back suction of the product and any changes to the plastic parts during longer contact with active ingredients or a high content of alcohol or oils. If no changes or leaks appear, the combination is suitable for normal use.

When cleaning the dispenser, it is important to avoid overly aggressive mechanical interference with the pump mechanism, which could cause it to come apart or become leaky. We recommend carefully rinsing the internal system with warm water and a mild cleaning agent, pumping several times to remove product residues, and then rinsing with clean water. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the dispenser with a suitable alcoholic solution and allow it to dry thoroughly before reuse.

If you decide not to reuse the dispenser and the related bottle, we recommend recycling them in accordance with the material designation given in the product parameters. First remove any remaining contents and, where possible, separate the individual parts of the packaging according to the type of material (plastic components, and possibly other materials). Then dispose of them in the appropriate sorted waste according to local recycling rules. By recycling, you reduce the amount of waste and contribute to a more sustainable handling of packaging materials.
