The matte white-silver dropper is an aesthetic and functional closure for glass and plastic bottles intended for the precise dispensing of liquid preparations. Thanks to the dropper system, it enables controlled, hygienic and repeatable dosing without unnecessary product waste. It is particularly suitable for formulations where precise drop-by-drop application is important – from facial serums to concentrated aromatic blends.
The surface treatment in a matte white-silver finish gives the packaging a professional appearance, making bottles with this dropper suitable for both home-made and small-scale products. The dropper is designed so that, when properly screwed on, it helps to minimise leakage of the contents and to keep the product protected from the external environment during storage and use.
This dropper is intended for combination with compatible bottles and vials according to the parameters selected in the product details. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – checking sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, oil or alcohol content, any sedimentation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
After clicking on the relevant packaging category, you will find an extended filter at the top of the page, which will help you narrow down your selection. You can filter the packaging by neck type, size, colour and material, or combine several parameters at once. In this way, you will select the bottle, closure or dropper that will best suit your product and the planned dosing method.
The dropper can be reused as long as it does not show signs of mechanical wear and basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the dropper and then disinfecting it with a suitable product, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. This will reduce the risk of microbial contamination and extend the usable life of your preparations.
The dropper is ideal for preparations that are used in small quantities and require precise dosing – for example facial serums, oil elixirs, active concentrates, aromatic oil blends or products for local application. You will use it in formulations where you need to dose the product drop by drop in order to maintain user comfort and consistent consumption.
Before final implementation in practice, we recommend performing a small compatibility test. Fill the bottle with a smaller amount of the finished product, close the dropper carefully and for several days monitor sealing, dosing and the condition of the material. Check whether the contents leak during transport, whether the consistency of the preparation allows smooth dripping, and whether the formulation (e.g. a high proportion of oils or alcohol) affects the functionality of the dropper system. Only after a successful test do we recommend filling the full volume.
After the contents have been used up, it is advisable to dismantle the dropper as soon as possible to the extent allowed by its construction, rinse off product residues with a suitable cleaning agent and warm water, and allow it to dry thoroughly. We then recommend disinfecting the surface and internal parts with alcohol, for example IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated and the dropper has dried is it ready for reuse with a new product.
If you decide not to reuse the dropper, we recommend first removing any product residues and, according to the information about the material in the parameter table on the product page, placing it in the appropriate sorted waste stream. The individual parts of the closure and dropper system may be made from a combination of materials, so it is practical to follow the exact data given in the parameters. Before discarding, it is advisable to mechanically empty the packaging as much as possible in order to minimise cosmetic residues in the waste. In this way you will support more efficient recycling and reduce the amount of mixed municipal waste.
