The black‑gold dropper is designed for precise and comfortable dosing of liquid preparations in cosmetics as well as in home production. It enables hygienic withdrawal of the contents drop by drop, which makes it particularly suitable for products where controlled dosing and minimisation of waste are important.
The dosing system of the dropper is designed to combine well with glass and suitable plastic bottles, creating a practical and aesthetic packaging unit for oil‑based, serum and watery formulations.
This dropper is intended to be combined with compatible bottles. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the chosen combination will also work reliably with your particular product.
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Always fit the dropper onto a clean and dry bottle neck. First align it gently, then tighten it evenly so that the seal adapts to the thread. Do not overtighten the thread – excessive tightening may lead to deterioration of sealing or faster wear. After the first filling, we recommend turning the bottle upside down for a short time and checking whether the dropper allows any contents to leak.
The dropper is intended for precise dosing of common cosmetic oils and liquid serums. Thicker or highly viscous oils may drip more slowly, therefore it is always important to perform a test with your specific formulation. If the product is too thick, it may be appropriate to choose another type of dosing, for example a pump or another form of applicator.
The dropper can be reused if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, all parts of the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in order to avoid contamination of the new product. For disinfection we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant‑based. After disinfection, let all parts dry completely at room temperature and only then use the dropper again.
We recommend cleaning the dropper with a mild cleaning agent suitable for contact with packaging materials and then rinsing thoroughly with water. It is advisable repeatedly to fill and expel clean water through the inner capillary, and possibly then a disinfectant solution. The use of aggressive chemicals or mechanical tools that could damage the seal or the glass or plastic part of the dropper is not recommended. After washing, let all parts dry freely.
If you decide not to use the dropper any longer, we recommend, after emptying and basic cleaning, to recycle it according to the recommendations given in the parameter table for the product. It is advisable to separate the individual parts of the packaging (for example the glass or plastic part and any rubber components) and place them in the appropriate collection containers according to the type of material. In case of any doubt, follow the local waste‑sorting rules in your municipality or city.
For easier selection of packaging, you can use the extended filter, which you will find in the upper part of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the extended filter, packaging can be clearly sorted according to several parameters, such as neck type, size, colour or material. Thanks to this, you can easily choose a bottle, dropper bottle, jar or dosing component that will best suit your specific product and the intended method of use.
