The clear plastic jar 70-410, 150 ml represents a practical and universal solution for packaging creamy, gel-based and loose products. The clear plastic allows for easy visual inspection of the contents, which you will appreciate both for cosmetic formulations and for homemade product manufacture. Thanks to its stable shape and high-quality workmanship, this jar is suitable for the safe storage of products with different consistencies that require a reliable, well-sealing container.
This jar is a standalone container that can, according to the selected parameters, be combined with compatible closures from the Handymade range. They are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray heads or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters of the given container. Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the container in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the jar is suitable for filling thick creams, body butters and balms that are not applied through a narrow neck but directly from the container. The wide opening facilitates both manual and machine filling and allows the product to be conveniently taken out with fingers or with a small spatula. Before filling, we always recommend performing a trial filling using a small amount of your specific formulation.
The jar can be reused provided that proper hygiene practices are followed. Before each new filling, the container must be thoroughly washed, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with an appropriate agent, for example with IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or with 96% denatured plant-based ethanol. Only after the packaging has completely dried and aired out do we recommend filling the jar again, in order to avoid affecting the stability and fragrance of the final product.
We recommend storing filled jars in a dry place, at a stable room temperature and away from direct sunlight or sources of heat. This reduces the risk of deterioration of the properties of the cosmetic product as well as of the packaging itself. Always close the container properly to limit the product’s contact with air, dust and moisture, which helps to prolong its functionality and aesthetic appearance.
Before recycling, it is advisable to empty the jar and remove any product residues. Subsequent sorting of the packaging into separate waste collection is governed by the material designation given in the product parameters and on the packaging, for example via the relevant plastic recycling symbol. According to this designation, place the jar in the appropriate collection container for plastic waste. In this way, you support efficient material recycling, if you do not decide to reuse it at home or in the workshop.
To quickly find suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the selected category (for example bottles, jars or other packaging material). In the advanced filter you can combine several parameters at once – specifically the neck type, the required size, the colour and the packaging material. In this way you can easily narrow down the offer to those packages that best correspond to your formulation, dosing method and the visual concept of your brand.
