The black matte plastic jar is a practical and versatile packaging component that is suitable for filling various cosmetic products as well as personal care blends. The matte surface looks professional and elegant, is pleasant to the touch, and combines well with both minimalist and bold label designs. Thanks to its sturdy construction and the appropriately chosen plastic material, the jar is stable, resistant to normal handling, and ideal for creamy, gel-based, or loose formulations. The dark, opaque design helps reduce light exposure to more sensitive ingredients, which contributes to longer stability and preservation of the properties of the stored contents.
The jar can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. Only after the inner surface has completely dried is the jar ready to be refilled.
First, mechanically remove the remains of the original product from the jar, then wash it in lukewarm water with a suitable cleaning agent and rinse thoroughly. After washing, it is important to disinfect the interior and the closure using alcohol – for example with the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After applying the disinfectant, let all parts dry completely in a clean place and only then use them again to fill a new product.
If you decide not to reuse the jar, it is recommended to recycle it according to the type of plastic specified in the parameter table for the product. Before disposal, remove any remaining contents and, according to the material marking, place the packaging in the appropriate container for sorted waste. In this way you support the recovery of raw materials and reduce the amount of non-recycled waste. Separate any paper or plastic label if required by local waste-sorting rules.
The jar is ideal for thicker and creamy preparations that can be conveniently scooped out with fingers or a spatula. It is suitable for lip balms, body butters, nourishing creams for dry skin, massage and aromatherapeutic balms, hair waxes and pastes, or scrubs. Thanks to the dark design, it is also often used by manufacturers of products with more sensitive active ingredients, where it is important to minimise light exposure.
