Plastic jar with lid is a practical and reliable packaging for various cosmetic and household mixtures, where cleanliness, convenient dosing and safe closure are important. Thanks to the durable plastic material, the jar is suitable for filling thicker and semi-liquid products that require a protected and stable environment during storage and use.
This multi-purpose jar is ideal for creamy, gel, powder or paste formulations, while allowing clear and hygienic storage of homemade cosmetics and other mixtures. The combination of jar and lid provides reliable closure, easy handling and good protection of the contents against impurities and normal mechanical stress.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the jar is suitable for filling various cream, butter and balm recipes. Thanks to the wide opening, the cream is easy to scoop out and the contents are easy to check. When filling, we recommend working as cleanly as possible to minimise the risk of microbial deterioration of the product.
The jar can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or etanol 96 % denaturovany rastlinny, which you can find on the pages /ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/ and /etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/. This reduces the risk of contamination and prolongs the stability of your formulations.
It is advisable to clean the jar by hand, using a mild detergent and lukewarm water, without using aggressive cleaning agents and rough sponges that could mechanically scratch the surface. After washing, we recommend rinsing the packaging thoroughly, letting it dry completely and then disinfecting it with alcohol before refilling. In this way you will maintain the nice appearance of the packaging and at the same time support the hygiene of the product.
If you decide not to reuse the jar, we recommend, after emptying and basic rinsing, placing it in sorted waste according to the material designation given in the product parameters and on the packaging. Follow the local rules for sorting plastics in your municipality or city. By sorting correctly, you enable the material to be reused and the amount of waste in mixed municipal bins is reduced.
