Is this plastic jar suitable for greasier and thicker cosmetic products?

Yes, the resealable plastic jar is also suitable for thicker creams, body butters, scrubs or ointments. The wide mouth makes filling and removing the product easier and the solid lid helps to keep the contents in place even during transport. For very oily formulations, we recommend carrying out a trial filling to verify the behaviour of the specific formulation over time.

Can I use the jar repeatedly for different products?

The jar can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the fragrance or stability of the new product by residues of the previous filling.

How should I properly clean the jar before further use?

First mechanically remove product residues (wipe them out with a spatula or cloth), then wash the jar in warm water with a suitable cleaning agent, rinse well and allow to dry. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface with an alcohol solution, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. Before filling, make sure that no residual moisture remains in the jar or in the lid.

How can I safely dispose of or recycle this jar if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the jar, we recommend recycling it according to the material designation stated in the product parameters and on the packaging itself. Before placing it in sorted waste, remove any product residues, and if necessary rinse the packaging to minimise cosmetic residues in the waste. Then place the packaging in the appropriate container according to the type of plastic. By following the recycling recommendations, you contribute to more efficient sorting and further use of the material.
