Product description

Plastic jar with lid represents a practical and aesthetic packaging solution suitable for various types of creamy, gel-based or loose preparations. Thanks to the high-quality plastic material, the jar is designed to reliably protect the contents during storage as well as with frequent opening and closing. It allows comfortable dosing, easy handling and is ideal for home-made and artisan cosmetic or other blends.

Usage options

  • packaging of face creams, butters, gels, lip balms and body masks
  • storage of scrubs, massage blends and more viscous emulsions
  • practical packaging for hair masks, hair pastes and styling products
  • container for waxes, decorative compounds and creative blends for DIY projects
  • suitable for small powder or granulated blends according to your own formulations

Advantages of the packaging

  • Stable plastic material ensures resistance during regular use and handling in cosmetic or craft workshops.
  • Safe protection of the contents thanks to the well-fitting lid minimizes unwanted leakage or spillage of the product.
  • Practical filling and dosing – the wide opening of the jar allows comfortable filling as well as scooping of thicker blends.
  • Aesthetic appearance of the packaging supports professional presentation of finished products for personal use as well as small-scale sales.
  • Low weight makes it easier to transport and store a larger quantity of filled jars.

Combining with closures and dispensers

Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Technical parameters

All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.

FAQ – Most common questions

Is this jar suitable for homemade creams and balms?

Yes, this packaging is suitable for various types of homemade and artisan cosmetics, such as creams, balms, butters or scrubs. When developing your own recipes, always observe the behaviour of the finished product in contact with the packaging, and it is recommended to produce a small test batch to verify the stability of the texture and fragrance during longer-term storage.

Can I reuse the jar for further batches of products?

The jar can be reused provided that basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and extends the shelf life of your own formulations.

How should I fill the jar correctly to avoid contamination of the contents?

When filling the jar, we recommend working with clean tools (spatulas, small funnels or filling bottles) and maintaining proper workplace hygiene. Ideally, fill blends that are slightly cooled but still plastic in texture to prevent condensation of vapour on the inner side of the lid. After closing, allow the packaging to stabilise at room temperature and avoid immediate exposure to significant temperature changes.

How should I clean the jar if I want to use it again?

First, mechanically remove product residues using a paper towel or spatula. Then rinse the packaging with warm water and an appropriate cleaning agent and, after thorough rinsing, let it dry. Before refilling, the packaging needs to be disinfected with an alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based, and allowed to dry completely in order to minimise the risk of contamination.

How should I recycle this jar properly if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the jar, we recommend that after emptying and basic cleaning you place it into sorted waste collection according to the type of plastic specified in the product parameters on the website. You can follow the recycling symbol and the material designation assigned to the packaging in the parameter table. The lid and the body of the packaging may be made of different materials, so if necessary, sort them separately according to local waste collection regulations.

You offer many types of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?

To select suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on the chosen packaging category. In the filter, you can clearly set parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material, and display only the packaging that meets your requirements. This procedure significantly facilitates orientation in the range and helps you find the most suitable packaging for a specific product or project.
