Plastic jar 70-410 clear 100 ml represents a practical and professional container for smaller batches of cosmetic as well as craft products. Thanks to the clear design, it allows quick visual inspection of the contents, which you will appreciate for creamy, gel-based and loose powder formulations alike. The stable plastic material makes handling easier during manual and semi-automatic filling and is suitable for packing products for which clarity and a representative appearance are important.
The jars are compatible with various types of closures according to the parameters selected in the product details. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – in particular of sealing, ease of opening and closing, as well as the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (for example oily, acidic or very liquid products).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
The jar can be used repeatedly provided that you follow basic hygiene rules and no visible damage appears. Before each refilling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This will reduce the risk of microbial contamination and extend the stability of your cosmetic products.
Before the first filling, we recommend visually checking the jar to make sure it is not damaged and removing dust or any impurities. Then you can treat the inner surface and the closure with disinfecting alcohol (for example IPA 99% or ethanol 96%) using a spray bottle or a clean cloth, let it evaporate and only then fill it with the finished product. Use clean tools and gloves while working to minimise the risk of introducing impurities into the formulation.
Yes, the jar is suitable for packing thick creams, butters and balms where scooping with fingers or a spatula is more practical than dispensing with a pump. The wide mouth allows easy filling and removal of the product, which you will appreciate with richer textures and whipped butters. At the same time, it is also suitable for gel and paste-like preparations that require a stable container with convenient access to the contents.
If you decide not to reuse the jar, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material stated in the product parameters. First remove any cosmetic residues, and if necessary rinse the container so that the sorted waste is contaminated as little as possible. Then place the jar into the appropriate container for sorted collection according to local rules (most often plastic). If the body of the jar and the closure are made of different materials, they are sorted separately. In case of doubt, follow the recycling symbols and material designation given in the product details.
The simplest solution is to use the advanced filter in the relevant packaging category. After clicking on the category (for example bottles, jars or pharmaceutical bottles), the option of detailed filtering appears at the top of the page. You can select packaging according to neck type, size, colour and material so that it corresponds to your product and the intended dispensing method. Thanks to the filter, you can quickly narrow down the offer only to the packaging that is most suitable for your project.
