Clear plastic jar with white lid represents a practical and aesthetically clean packaging for cosmetic as well as craft formulations. The transparent container provides an overview of the contents, which makes it easier to check the texture, colour and consumption of the product. Thanks to its sturdy construction and high-quality closure, the jar is suitable for safe packaging of various semi-solid and loose mixtures that require hygienic and compact storage.
The packaging is designed to be easy to fill, close and use both in home production and in small-scale artisan manufacture. The combination of a clear plastic jar and a white lid looks professional, works well with a label and makes it possible to create coherent product ranges for cosmetics, body care or various DIY projects.
Combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (for example in case of a higher proportion of oils, active substances or preservatives). This will ensure the long-term stability of the product as well as a professional impression during use.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product specifications.
The jar can be used repeatedly if proper hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with an appropriate alcohol-based preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol or with denatured plant ethanol. Always allow the disinfectant to evaporate completely before refilling the jar in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and any impact on formulation stability.
After emptying, remove product residues mechanically, then wash the jar with lukewarm water and a mild detergent and rinse well. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the packaging using alcohol-based products such as IPA 99 % or 96 % ethanol. For plastic packaging, it is not recommended to expose the material to high temperatures or boiling, in order to avoid damage or deformation of the jar.
If you decide not to reuse the jar, we recommend recycling it according to the plastic type stated in the product specifications. Before placing it in sorted waste collection, remove any remaining contents and, if necessary, rinse the packaging so that it does not burden the recycling process. Sort the container and lid according to the recycling symbol in line with local waste management regulations. By sorting correctly, you support efficient material recovery and reduce the amount of waste.
The jar is intended primarily for filling cooled or only slightly lukewarm mixtures. The plastic material is not suitable for exposure to high temperatures, as there is a risk of softening or deformation of the packaging. It is recommended that butters, creams or other formulations are poured only after they have cooled down to a temperature comfortable to the touch of the hand. The packaging is not intended for boiling, sterilisation in boiling water or for cleaning in a dishwasher.
When choosing suitable packaging, we recommend using the extended filter in the packaging material categories. This filter is located at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, jars or vials). It allows you to filter according to parameters such as neck type, overall packaging size, colour and material used. This will enable you to quickly find the combination of container and closure that best matches the character of your product and the visual requirements of your brand.
