Product description

Transparent plastic jar with black lid 1 l is a practical and universal container, ideal for clear and safe packaging of various loose, solid and semi-solid products. The transparent body of the jar allows immediate visual inspection of the contents, while the strong screw lid ensures reliable closure and reduces the risk of contamination or spillage. Thanks to its design, the packaging is suitable for cosmetic formulations, craft products as well as for various technical or hobby uses in small-scale production facilities and home workshops.

Possible uses

  • storage and packaging of cosmetic preparations such as body and face masks, scrubs, butters, bath salts or loose bath blends
  • practical pot for packaging powdered ingredients, soap bases, bath salts and dried herbs within home cosmetics production
  • jar for measured quantities of raw materials when making candles, soaps and other hand-made products
  • container for storing small craft components (pigments, glitters, beads, decorative materials)
  • workplace organisation – clear storage of loose blends, granulates or small materials where quick visual inspection of the contents is important

Packaging advantages

  • Stable and lightweight plastic material – the jar withstands normal handling, is suitable for frequent opening and closing, and at the same time does not burden the parcel with excessive weight.
  • Good protection of contents – the screw lid helps minimise the access of air and moisture, thus contributing to the stability of stored raw materials and blends.
  • Transparent design – the clear walls allow easy checking of the quantity and appearance of the product without the need to open it.
  • Universal use – suitable as a cosmetic jar, technical jar and organisational packaging for smaller workshops, studios or artisanal production.
  • Suitable for repeated use – with proper cleaning and disinfection you can integrate the jar long-term into your production and filling processes, thereby helping to reduce waste.

Combining with closures and dispensers

Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly at Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – checking sealing, the behaviour of the packaging and lid in contact with the specific formulation, as well as easy opening and closing during real use.

Technical parameters

All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.

FAQ – Most common questions

Is this plastic jar suitable for repeated use?

The jar can be used repeatedly provided you follow basic hygiene principles and an appropriate cleaning method. Before each refilling, the packaging must be thoroughly washed, dried and subsequently disinfected. For disinfection we recommend, for example, isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. Allow the disinfectant to act for an appropriate time and, before filling, make sure there are no alcohol residues left inside that could affect your product.

How to clean the jar correctly before the next filling?

After emptying, remove the remains of the original product, wash the jar with a suitable cleaning agent and warm water, and rinse thoroughly. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface and the lid using alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Let the packaging air-dry in a clean environment to minimise the risk of microbial contamination before refilling.

How to safely dispose of and recycle this packaging if I no longer wish to use it?

If you decide not to use the jar any more, we recommend first removing any product residues and, if possible, rinsing it. Then proceed according to the recycling symbols and material designation given in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade.sk website. Place the packaging in the appropriate sorted waste stream according to the type of plastic. Ideally, the lid should also be recycled according to its material – if it is made of a different plastic than the body of the container, it is advisable to separate these parts. By following the recommended sorting rules, you support a more environmentally friendly approach.

For which types of products is this plastic jar most suitable?

The jar is particularly suitable for packaging cosmetic preparations in loose or solid form, such as scrubs, bath salts, body butters, soap chips or various bath blends. Thanks to the transparent walls, it is also practical for storing raw materials, pigments, powders and additives intended for further processing in your production. The packaging also serves well for organising workshop or studio materials – small components, decorative elements or other loose or granulated blends.

You offer many types of packaging – how can I find the right one for my product?

To make selecting packaging easier, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the advanced filter you can adjust the results according to several parameters – specifically by the type of neck, required size, colour and material. This way you will quickly choose bottles, jars, pots or medicine bottles that best match your formulation, brand design and dosing method.
