PRODEW 500 is a moisturizing factor with a unique composition of amino acids. Amino acids protect the skin from drying out, hydrate it, support its firmness and give it a healthy and fresh appearance. And when Prodew 500 is added to hair cosmetics, this active ingredient can increase the elasticity of the hair, making it resistant to damage, as well as restore its structure and micro‑damage. 

It is known that when amino acids are applied to the surface of the hair they have various cosmetic effects: they hydrate, strengthen the hair structure, protect the colour and repair surface damage. The amino acid composition of Prodew 500 is similar to the amino acid composition of complex proteins of cell membranes – it consists of:

• 20 % Sodium PCA (supports hydration, has a conditioning effect and helps maintain colour intensity)
• 7 % arginine (supports hydration, leaves the hair soft and at the same time improves the binding of PCA)
• 7 % blend of other amino acids (care for damaged hair)
• 12 % sodium lactate (sodium lactate – supports hydration)
• 4 % aspartic acid (pH adjustment)

PRODEW 500 provides a wide spectrum of functions in various types of cosmetic preparations:

• Hair care: shampoos, conditioners, post‑colour balms, hair masks, hair sprays, styling gels and others.

• Facial care: creams, body and facial lotions, toners, cleansing gels, shower gels and similar.

• Sun care preparations: products for care before and after sunbathing – creams, lotions, gels.

• Decorative cosmetics: make‑ups, lipsticks and other coloured products.

Recommended dosage: 0,5 - 5 % – for rinse‑off and 0,2 - 2 % for leave‑on products.

Recommended use: use in the water phase, do not raise the temperature above 50 C, do not add to alkaline solutions, due to the decomposition of Sodium PCA, we recommend pH in the range 3 - 9. The addition of PRODEW 500 will reduce the viscosity, therefore it is necessary to take this fact into account during formulation.

All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, not suitable for internal use. When handling, use appropriate protective equipment.
