The transparent round plastic bottle with a disc-top closure represents a practical and professional packaging suitable for various types of liquid preparations. Thanks to the high-quality plastic material, the bottle is light, durable, and ideal for everyday use in cosmetics as well as in artisan production. The disc-top closure enables convenient, controlled and clean dispensing without unnecessary waste of the contents.
Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation). For plastic bottles, it is important to also verify the long-term action of surface-active substances, oils and fragrances on the walls of the packaging and on the closure.
If the packaging is made from PET material, it must be kept in mind that PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, because at such temperatures there is a risk of deformation of the packaging. Such packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. Gentle cleaning at lower temperatures and suitable disinfection according to the recommended procedures is advised.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Disinfection helps reduce the risk of microbial contamination when the packaging is used again.
We recommend cleaning the bottle with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly and allowing it to dry completely. If it is packaging made from PET material, do not expose it to high temperatures, do not use a dishwasher and do not boil it, in order to avoid deformation. After mechanical cleaning, it is appropriate to disinfect the interior space and contact surfaces with alcohol, which should be allowed to evaporate completely after application.
The easiest way to choose is to use the advanced filter in the packaging category. After clicking on the relevant category, the filtering option will appear at the top of the page, where you can select a combination of parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material. Using these filters, you can quickly narrow down the selection to the packaging that is most suitable for the specific product and method of dispensing.
The disc-top closure is suitable for a wide range of liquid formulations from thin solutions to medium-viscosity emulsions. For very thick or gel products, we recommend first carrying out a trial filling and dispensing test to verify whether the flow through the opening of the closure corresponds to the desired method of use. If the dispensing is too slow, a pump or another type of applicator suitable for higher viscosity may be more appropriate.
Store the plastic bottle in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Do not leave the packaging near heat-producing appliances or in an environment with significantly fluctuating temperature. For packaging made from PET material, it is important to prevent long-term exposure to high temperatures so that softening or deformation does not occur. The contents should be stored in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer of the specific formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, it is recommended to recycle it according to the type of material listed in the product parameters for this packaging. First remove any remaining contents, rinse the packaging and separate any combined parts (for example the bottle body and the closure) if they are made of different materials. Then sort the packaging into the appropriate container according to local waste collection rules. Respecting the material designation and the manufacturer’s recommendations helps ensure proper processing in the recycling process.
