The clear PET plastic bottle is a practical and versatile packaging suitable for filling various liquid cosmetic preparations and other formulations. The transparent material allows for easy visual inspection of the contents, which you will appreciate both during filling and during use. Thanks to its well-designed shape, the bottle fits comfortably in the hand and is convenient for everyday use in home cosmetics, artisanal production and small product batches.
The packaging is designed to be stable, practical for storage and compatible with multiple types of closures and dispensing systems. The smooth surface of the bottle is suitable for applying labels, printing or markings, which facilitates the professional presentation of the finished product.
These PET bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing options (for example screw caps, droppers, spray tops or practical applicators) depending on the selected product parameters. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the selected closure functions reliably even with long-term use.
Warning regarding PET material: PET should not be exposed to high temperatures, which may lead to deformation of the packaging. We do not recommend washing the bottle in a dishwasher or boiling it – for cleaning, use gentle hand washing and appropriate disinfection.

The bottle can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging and then disinfecting it with a suitable disinfectant, for example with isopropyl alcohol or with denatured ethanol of plant origin. At the same time, bear in mind that PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures – do not boil it and do not wash it in a dishwasher, in order to avoid deformation.
First remove the residues of the original contents by rinsing with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Then we recommend rinsing the inner surface with an alcohol-based disinfectant solution – IPA 99 % or 96 % plant-based denatured ethanol are suitable. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry naturally upside down on a clean, dust-free surface. Do not use hot water or boiling, in order to avoid damaging the PET material.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend disposing of it in sorted waste according to the material specified in the product parameters. For PET bottles, this is typically a plastic material that is, in standard municipal systems, sorted into the yellow container for plastics. Before disposal, empty the bottle of its contents, optionally rinse it lightly, and you can recycle the closure together with the bottle or according to local sorting rules. By recycling, you enable the material of the packaging to be used again and reduce the amount of waste.
Thanks to its shape and the PET material used, the bottle is particularly suitable for liquid cosmetic products such as facial and body toners, hydrolats, hair tonics, liquid soaps, shampoos or gentle cleansing solutions. The transparency of the packaging is practical for products where you want to have visual control over the colour and quantity of the contents. For specific or more aggressive formulations, we always recommend performing your own material compatibility test with the given product.
Yes, the bottle is designed to be compatible with several types of screw caps, spray tops, pumps or applicators that are available with the product according to the corresponding neck finish. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional, but we still recommend always performing your own test – verify the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the closure when in contact with the specific formulation, especially for oily, very fluid or viscous products.
