For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and maintains the stability of your formulations.

Plastic bottles made of PET material should be cleaned by hand, with lukewarm water and a mild cleaning agent. Then let them dry thoroughly, and before the next filling we recommend applying alcohol disinfection. PET should not be exposed to high temperatures, so never boil the packaging and do not wash it in a dishwasher, where there is a risk of deformation of the material and deterioration of the sealing properties of the sprayer.

If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend, as a priority, to recycle it according to the material designation given in the product parameters. The bottle should first be emptied, rinsed to remove product residues and then placed in sorted waste collection according to local rules (for example, in a container intended for plastic packaging). The sprayer itself may consist of several types of plastic, so it is best to follow the recommendations of your collection system. If it is not possible to mechanically separate all parts, sort the packaging according to the main material, which is the bottle. By recycling, you reduce the amount of waste and support the reuse of raw materials.
