The glass bottle with dropper represents a professional solution for dispensing oily, serum, concentrated and other liquid formulations where accuracy and protection of the contents are important. The dark, opaque glass helps to limit light penetration, which is particularly advantageous for products that are sensitive to light and oxidation. Thanks to the combination of a reliable medicine bottle and a practical dropper, this packaging is suitable for filling cosmetic and laboratory preparations where controlled and hygienic dosing is required.
Yes, the glass bottle with dropper is suitable for packaging concentrated serums, oil boosters and other formulations where drop-by-drop dosing is required. Glass is a stable packaging material which, in standard cosmetic formulations, minimises interaction between the packaging and the contents. Before launching the product, we recommend carrying out your own compatibility test, especially in the case of a high content of acids, retinoids or other intensive active substances.
The packaging can be reused provided that hygiene principles are observed. Before the first and each repeated filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely at room temperature and only then fill with the final product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types specified in the product parameters. The glass part can usually be placed in the container designated for glass, while plastic or rubber components (dropper, seals, any plastic elements) must be separated and sorted according to the relevant fraction. Before recycling, empty the packaging as much as possible and wipe off any product residues in order to facilitate further processing at the sorting facility.
The dropper is designed for dosing standard oil serums and liquid blends. For very thick or highly viscous products, dosing may be slower or less precise. In such a case, we recommend testing the behaviour of the specific formulation in the bottle and considering possible adjustment of the formula or another type of closure that will be more practical for the given product. Always carry out the test on a smaller trial batch.
