The glass bottle with a matte black surface and white dropper represents a professional packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid preparations where precise dosing and visual separation of the product from the external environment are important. Thanks to high-quality glass, the contents are stable and protected from environmental influences, which will be especially appreciated by manufacturers and creators of natural and artisanal cosmetics. The matte black design also helps to reduce light penetration to the filled contents, which is advantageous for light-sensitive products. The integrated white dropper facilitates drop-by-drop application and supports economical, hygienic and controlled use of your product.
This product is supplied as a combination of glass bottle and dropper, so mutual compatibility has already been verified within the Handymade.sk range. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure the packaging works optimally with your particular product.

The glass bottle is suitable for most common cosmetic bases, whether oil-based, water-based or mixed emulsion formulations that are dosed drop by drop. The glass material is stable and, with a properly chosen cosmetic composition, usually does not enter into undesirable reactions with the contents. Before the final launch of the product, we recommend performing your own stability test to verify the behaviour of the specific formulation over time.
You can reuse the bottle if you follow proper hygiene practices. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example with isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99%) or with 96% denatured plant-based ethanol. Focus disinfection on the inner surface of the bottle, the neck and the parts of the dropper that come into contact with the contents. After disinfection, allow all components to dry thoroughly in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the new product.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend recycling it as a priority in accordance with local waste-sorting regulations. The glass part of the bottle is usually placed in the container designated for glass according to its colour, while the dropper and plastic parts should be placed in the appropriate container for plastic or mixed waste, depending on how sorting rules are defined in your region. When sorting, follow the material information given in the product parameters on Handymade.sk. Before handing it over for recycling, it is advisable to remove any product residues and at least roughly rinse the packaging.
The dripping speed depends not only on the shape of the dropper but also on the viscosity and surface tension of your formulation. More viscous oils drip more slowly, while light and thin solutions may flow faster. Therefore, during product development, we recommend testing dosing at the usual storage and use temperature. If you want to slow down the dose, choose a more viscous base or adjust the viscosity of the formula; if you need faster application, reduce the viscosity of the carrier phase, provided this is technologically possible.
