FAQ – Most frequent questions

Is it possible to use this glass bottle with sprayer repeatedly?

The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and sprayer must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol. Only after all parts have completely dried is the packaging suitable for refilling, and we recommend also testing the spraying function with the new formulation.

For which type of products is this sprayer most suitable?

The sprayer is suitable for liquids with low to medium viscosity, such as facial and body mists, toners, hair tonics, aromatic sprays or hand disinfectants. Thick emulsions, gels or oil blends with high viscosity can clog the sprayer and impair the quality of the spray, therefore for such formulations it is necessary to carry out a thorough practical functionality test.

How should the bottle and sprayer be properly cleaned before refilling?

First, it is advisable to thoroughly rinse the bottle with warm water and detergent and mechanically remove residues of the original product. Afterwards, we recommend rinsing the bottle and individual sprayer parts with clean water and, after rinsing, disinfecting them with an alcohol-based preparation, for example with IPA 99 % or 96 % plant-based ethanol. After disinfection, it is important to let all components dry completely at room temperature so that no moisture remains trapped in the packaging, which could affect the stability of the new filling.

How should this packaging be correctly recycled if I do not want to use it further?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the types of materials used as stated in the product parameters. The glass bottle can usually be sorted into the container for glass once product residues and any labels have been removed. The plastic and metal parts of the sprayer need to be separated and placed into the appropriate recycling stream according to local collection rules. Always follow the information on material composition in the technical documentation and the recommendations of the local waste management system.
