Glass bottle – dropper vial with white matte surface and smooth dropper represents a professional packaging for liquid preparations that combines aesthetic design with practical dosing. Thanks to the dropper, it is suitable for precise, hygienic and economical dosing of liquids in small volumes, which will be appreciated by manufacturers of cosmetic, aromatherapeutic and technical solutions alike. The opaque white glass also helps protect the contents from the effects of light, thereby supporting the stability of sensitive components in the formulation.
This glass bottle – dropper vial is sold as a stand-alone packaging and is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the offer. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, the type and amount of dosing, as well as the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are given in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the glass dropper vial can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and subsequently disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol of plant origin (Ethanol 96 % denatured plant). This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of the new refill.
After emptying, first remove residues of the original contents by rinsing with warm water and a mild cleaning agent that is suitable for contact with the type of product used. Then thoroughly rinse the packaging with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. After drying, disinfect the interior and neck of the bottle with alcohol (e.g. isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 %) and allow it to air out completely. For repeated use, always assess the suitability of this procedure with regard to the nature of both the original and the new product.
The glass packaging is generally stable and resistant; nevertheless, we do not recommend sudden thermal shocks (rapid alternation of very hot and cold liquid), which can lead to the glass cracking. When filling, use an appropriate temperature according to the properties of your formulation and always test a smaller amount first. For highly concentrated or chemically aggressive preparations, we recommend performing a compatibility test – filling a small amount of product, leaving it in contact with the packaging for a certain time and monitoring any changes in appearance or odour.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. After emptying and basic rinsing to remove product residues, place the glass bottle in the appropriate glass container. Sort the closure, dropper or other plastic or combined parts according to the instructions for the given material (plastic, metal, etc.), if different materials are specified in the parameters. Before placing in sorted waste, it is recommended to remove larger residues of product from the packaging so that it does not affect the quality of recycling.
When selecting suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category (for example bottles, vials, jars or dispensers). In the advanced filter, you can conveniently sort packaging according to key parameters such as type and size of neck, overall size of the packaging, colour and material. Thanks to this, you can quickly choose a combination of bottle and closure that will best suit the character of your product and the desired method of application.
