The glass vial, black frosted dropper is a reliable packaging material for safe packaging and accurate dosing of liquid products in cosmetics, even in smaller production batches. Glass as a material is suitable for formulations where it is important to preserve the original fragrance, colour and properties of the contents without undesirable material influences. As it is a dark glass, the packaging naturally contributes to a reduction in light transmission and UV radiation, which is particularly appreciated by more sensitive ingredients (oils, extracts, active ingredients). The packaging is food-grade certified and therefore also suitable for selected liquid products intended for internal use, provided that hygiene principles are observed.
The combinations of containers and closures, which are created directly at Handymade, are tested and functional. However, for all combinations, we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dispensing and packaging behaviour in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the packaging is food-grade certified, so it is also suitable for tinctures, liquid nutritional supplements and extracts intended for internal use. We recommend that you observe filling hygiene, appropriate storage and do your own compatibility test with the specific contents.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each refill, the packaging should be cleaned and disinfected (ALK001 / ALK002), for example with IPA 99% (isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol 96%, and allowed to dry completely before refilling.
The dropper is particularly practical for liquid and medium viscosity products where dosing accuracy is important (e.g. oils, extracts, solutions and serums). For very thick formulations, we recommend doing a dosage test to verify smooth application.
If you choose not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it. Ideally, separate the components by material: empty the glass container, rinse if possible, and sort into a glass container; sort the plastic parts into plastic. Sort silicone parts according to local collection rules (if separate collection is not available, they usually belong in mixed waste). Sorting is governed by the collection rules in your municipality.
