The glass bottle – dropper bottle is suitable for packaging liquid cosmetic formulations including serums, oil blends and preparations containing essential oils, provided they are correctly designed in terms of stability and safety. We always recommend performing your own compatibility test, in which you observe the behaviour of the glass, the dropper seal and the rubber part in contact with your specific blend, especially at higher concentrations of actives or essential oils.

When using the dropper we recommend holding the bottle firmly, pulling the dropper out of the neck and only then gently pressing the upper rubber part in order to draw up the required amount of product. Dose directly onto the hand, into a bowl or onto the application area without the dropper touching the skin, to minimize the risk of contamination. After use always screw the dropper firmly back onto the bottle and store the product closed, in a dry place and away from direct sunlight.

The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygienic principles are observed, for example for further batches of the same product. After disinfection, let all parts of the packaging dry thoroughly so that no residues of the cleaning agent or water remain in the packaging that could affect the quality of the new filling.

If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can, after emptying and a rough rinse, be placed in the appropriate container for sorted glass collection according to local rules. The closure with dropper usually consists of several components (plastic, rubber, possibly metal decoration), so sort it according to the recommendations resulting from the material composition given with the product or hand it over at a collection yard that accepts mixed packaging materials. Before disposal, try to minimize product residues in the packaging so that recycling is as effective as possible.
