The frosted glass bottle represents a professional packaging solution for liquid cosmetic products where precise drop-by-drop application is important. Combined with a suitable dropper, it provides controlled dosing and minimizes the content’s contact with air, which is ideal for formulations with active ingredients, aromatic oils or serums. Frosted glass helps reduce light penetration to the contents, thereby supporting the stability of sensitive components and extending their usability when properly stored.
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems, for example with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators according to the selected parameters in the offer. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The frosted glass bottle is suitable for most oil-based and serum cosmetic preparations that are dosed drop by drop. Glass is a material with high chemical stability and, with common cosmetic oils, serums and aromatic blends, it helps preserve their properties. For specific or highly concentrated active ingredients, we recommend performing your own compatibility test and monitoring the product’s behaviour during storage.
The bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the packaging from residues of the original product, rinse it with a suitable cleaning agent and then disinfect it. For disinfection we recommend using alcohol-based products, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which are available in our range: IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the bottle to dry completely before refilling.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local regulations. The glass packaging is usually intended to be sorted into the glass container. Before disposal, it is advisable to empty the bottle of product residues and, if possible, rinse it. Specific recommendations for recycling can be found in the product parameter table and should correspond to the material type indicated for the given packaging. Closures made from other materials (plastic, rubber, metal) should be sorted separately according to local recycling rules.
Yes, the bottle is also suitable for smaller test batches and samples where you need precise drop dosing. Thanks to the glass material you can better monitor the stability of formulas over time and the behaviour of individual components during storage. When developing new products, however, we recommend testing not only the formula itself but also the chosen combination of bottle and closure to verify sealing, dosing and the long-term functionality of the packaging.
