FAQ – Most frequently asked questions

Is this glass bottle suitable for thicker oils and serums?

Yes, the bottle with dropper is suitable for most liquid and slightly thicker oil-based and serum formulations. For very thick oils or gel-like textures we recommend first testing whether the dropper provides smooth dosing, or choosing an alternative type of closure or applicator from the options offered with the product.

Can I use this bottle repeatedly for different products?

The glass bottle can be safely reused if hygienic principles are followed. Before each new filling it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. This minimizes the risk of microbial contamination and the impact on the stability of the new formulation from residues of the previous product.

How should I correctly clean the bottle and dropper before reusing them?

First mechanically remove the residues of the original product, then rinse the packaging with a suitable cleaning solution (for example warm water with a mild detergent) and rinse thoroughly. After complete drying it is necessary to disinfect the internal surfaces with alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. We recommend thoroughly flushing the dropper by repeatedly drawing in and expelling the disinfectant solution so that residues inside the pipette are also removed.

How can I dispose of or recycle the glass bottle and dropper in an environmentally friendly way if I no longer want to use them?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend placing it in sorted waste according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle, after removing any product residue and the closure, is usually placed in the glass container. The remaining components (dropper, rubber or plastic part, possible inserts) should be separated and sorted according to their material composition in accordance with local recycling rules. Before recycling it is advisable to rinse the packaging to remove any remaining contents.
